Los Angeles

On Sunday night, we arrived in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, I was feeling awful, so I hung out in the room while Steve, Brandon, and Evan hit the pool. Then, we all ordered room service for dinner and watched some television to gear up for our next big day.

On Monday morning, we drove into Hollywood after breakfast. We only had a few hours to spend in L.A., so we wanted to be sure that we saw the quintessential Los Angeles sights: Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Walk of Fame, and the Hollywood sign. We were able to accomplish all of those things right at Hollywood and Highland.

Outside of Grauman's Chinese Theater, right on the Walk of Fame, there were a lot of "famous characters" ready and willing to take pictures with us (for a tip, of course). Brandon and Evan were REALLY excited to see Mickey Mouse right in Los Angeles, and we were happy that they were willing to snap a picture with him.

At the shopping center at Hollywood and Highland, there was a great place to take a picture of the Hollywood sign, so here are Evan, Brandon, and me with it in the background. We were having a blast!


After a quick lunch, before hitting the road to Palm Springs, Evan and Brandon had to make a quick stop at a fountain, which of course, made us make a quick stop in our trunk to change into dry shorts and sandals. :)
