Home Sweet Temporary Home

As promised, I wanted to share a little bit about where we are living here in Tennessee. We are in temporary housing right now, a furnished three-bedroom apartment. The complex we live in is on the NE side of town near an area of Franklin called Cool Springs, which basically has every kind of commercial store and restaurant you can think of. (There is such a huge difference in atmosphere between Cool Springs and historic downtown Franklin, but that is a different post...)

Here is a picture of our building:

We are on the first floor, which is nice with the kids, although we quickly remembered the joys of having someone else living above us.

Here is our little living room, complete with three boys, one of whom doesn't like pants.

What, you want to see another picture of the boy who certainly can't be my baby because he is way too big? Okay! :)

The dining area

The master bedroom... there is a dresser and a desk area on the other side of the room. We also have our own bathroom off of the bedroom, which we haven't had since the boys were little babies - sweet!

Here is Brandon and Evan's room, which isn't too exciting except for the BIG BOY BEDS. They are super psyched about getting to sleep in these beds. It will be interesting to see how well they are willing to transition back to their old beds later. Hmm...

Zack's room... note the crib that conveniently rolls out of the room and the queen size bed for guests. :)

I must admit, though, that I have been keeping the best part of this apartment from you. (Yes, I know it is hard to believe, but it gets better!) This is the view from the front of our apartment.

Can't tell what that nice fenced area is?

Do you think this giant complex is what the McEwan brothers had in mind when they picked this place for their family burial plot?

Nice...bet they didn't advertise the cemetery to you. Your baby is getting big...and so cute! Way to go--another move down.
