Happy Birthday, Steve!

Steve's birthday was on June 4th - he is now the big 2-9! Wayne and Jane were kind enough to throw a party for him, and we all had a blast.

We got to have some fun last Thursday for Steve's actual birthday, too. The boys and I met him out for lunch at Maggiano's - yum!


After resting for the afternoon, all three boys helped me decorate the house for the birthday boy. Here they are waiting for Dad to arrive home from work.


After a fantastic birthday dinner of deep-dish pepperoni pizza, Steve opened presents and we all shared in some birthday cupcakes.


Steve and I were even able to escape the house for a little while on his birthday! We had a sitter stop by once the kids were in bed. We headed out to a piano bar in downtown Arlington Heights. It was so nice to get some adult time, too! What a great day!
