A great last week and a return to Michigan

Well, our time in Chicago is over. As I write this, I am sitting on the couch in our townhouse in Ann Arbor. While we had a great time this summer, I think we are all happy to be back in our home.

Our last week in Chicago was a busy one! We had a great time visiting with so many different friends and family. Brandon, Evan, and I got to spend some time playing at home, too, which was great. Steve had his final presentation for his internship on Wednesday and then wrapped things up at Kraft on Friday.

The move yesterday was rather uneventful. Jane came up with me earlier in the day to help clean, which was a godsend. Thank you, Jane!!!!! Wayne spent the morning with Steve and the twins in Chicago, and they headed up around nap time. We still have some settling in to do before we are feeling really at home, but things are well on their way.

We did have another rather unfortunate computer incident yesterday. About two hours after we got it turned on, our desktop decided it isn't going to work anymore. Things are looking bleak for data recovery, which is very, very said since it was the back-up for all of the things I lost on my laptop. Sad, sad, sad.

Overall, we are all doing well. We would love some visitors out in Ann Arbor, so we hope to see you soon! :)
